hi guys... this work I did to study a little bit about texture, light and render... I realized no matter how much we study, we never know everything... I developed this scene cause I wanted to create some kind of work that I could to apply the knowlegde that I got during some turorials...actually I am architeruring a new 3d project about a future environment and this work was a based to do something better in my next scene (:

hello guys... this is my last modelling study... after to draw hardly during a long time I wish to buguin a hard process to practice a lot of organics sculptures, to improve my skills to create modelling  with a right anatomy...this is just a work in process... as you can see there are alot of things to do, the hair probability I gonna chande, cause I am thinking about to do something with more details, for sure I gonna use the 3dmax yet, but first of all I need to finish it HAHA lol I hope you like it (Y

Concept - Mother bear

hello everyone... this is my new work, the idea behind this work was basedover 3 scratches that I did, I made the research with real bear on the internet to help me with proportion, but I didn't proceed completely it cause I would like to make something like a cartoon...

I started the modelling through 3dmax, during the process of creation when I begun to work in mother's expression, I really felt what I done with the quick sketch that led me towards the success of the finel image, I could already feel the message from both concepts at this point.

Texture
after the modelling, I begun to work with the texture, I didn't care to create a complex texture cause after to finish it, I was thinking about to put fur over the bodies, to help me to make a quick work I made the texture map over the concepts in low poly, the more complicated part during the process of creation was to be satisfied with the fur... I really made alot of test from different colors till many size, I didn't want the fur looks like I used bump or displace...I already worked with it before, but this time was a challange...

Compositing
as a cartoon work I wished to make something simple in the environment, but realistic, the stones and the branch on the ground I worked with zbrush, some texture I got on the website cgtexture... if you don't find a texture on this website, give up to looking for!!! haha...basically as you can see the materials on the environment I used diffuse map, reflect map and refl. gloss, so I think the grass and this kind of sky help to balance the scene with all the elements.

conclusion
the creation process was both fun and frustating, but I feel it was worthwhile. it is time to move on and challenge myself again. I will definitely do more than my best for the next one and share with you guys!

Hello guys... I gonna talk a little bit about the process of my drawings, I cannot say I know everything ;D, but I think something about the knowledge that I learned so far can help to accomplish a good work hehe...first of all the secret about a nice drawing begin through the scratch… before we apply light and shadow effect we should scratching softly a lot, to create a drawing closer to the real proportion… it's necessary patience end observation… my technique to try looks like a real picture, it's see the photo in black and white only this way… I can know right where I can apply light and shadow with more precision than an image with color… as you can see below on picture

usually with blond hair I work with charcoal with the finger I spread, in this process is nice to do the contrast between light and shadows before to use the eraser to make the detail of  her hair… rarely I use pencil after to do this ...
This techniques can be used to do faces and body too… as you can see I tried to apply the degrade between light and shadow from the reference photo always looking for something realistic, I cannot leave the body lines apparent to difine something, it's necessary you learn how to use light and shadow to create shapes.
If you look at the pictures bellow... you can see the second and the fourth drawing seem more realistic than the first and third, there are a big difference… that's why I think the tricks that I just to say are important... I expect you like it… hehe

IT'S TIME TO HAVE A SNACK
Software: 3dmax, z-brush, V-ray, Photoshop
Introduction:
Actually I don't work a lot of time with cartoon, but I think awesome this kind of art and
When I decided to create the scene ` IT'S TIME TO A HAVE SNACK ´ I wanted to create
Something funny, so I asked myself:  should I do a mouse doing a mess in a kitchen
And I made the drawing to improve my idea.

Character:
to create this character, I begun through the 3dmax with the modeling and I applied some details in this model with Z-brush, I try to model as much as I can with 3d max, when I exported to zbrush I used tree different kind of brushes trying to change a little bit his shape, to be more adorable for the scene.

Environment:
as I wanted to do a cartoon, I thought so much in a environment for this character, I didn't want to use something from a library, that's why I took many picture in my kitchen to use like background to the models, to model each object in the scene, to become textures, and to try realize some in the materials like the reflection cup or the reflection tile behind the character

For the light I used 2 points of the V-ray light, I need to render a lot of time until arrived in something that I really wanted, I begun using a simple camera, but during the process the creation I decided to use the V-RayPhysicalCamera,  I needed to make other renders test with a low numbers of the calculation parameters  on the V-ray Light cache, so to work  the texture I used the UVW mapping and Unwrap UVW to map the texture on the character and in some object in the scene, with the Material Editor to the character's skin I worked with V-RayFastSSS2 and the most texture object I used Diffuse, Bump and Displace.
I did the render with V-ray and eventually I worked the pos production with the photoshop, I played a little bit with the curves and exposure, I carried with the final image I didn´t want the scene darkness and applied some techniques with the lens correction that we have only when we take a picture with a camera.

Conclusion:
The most of times the arts are never become exactly what the artist wanted in the original Idea, but I think that it is must be learned like a lesson that often to us different kind of knowledge, cause you make something unexpected and you never see before, that's became a lesson. I am glad with this work, but we mustn't think that we are good, we need to try be always better in the next time =D
